Our Mission
At Barbados Tennis, we believe in fostering "A Better Life Through Tennis." Our mission is deeply ingrained in our practices, particularly for our younger members. We strive to instill values of self-discipline and perseverance through the sport.
Sydney Lopez is the founder of Barbados Tennis and On Court Promotions, as well as the head coach at the Ocean View Tennis Club.
Caroline Lopez, co-founder of Barbados Tennis and On Court Promotions, manages the business operations and plays a vital role in the organization’s success. She coordinates the Christopher Howitt Championships, one of the longest-running annual competitions, and is responsible for booking coaching sessions, tennis camps, and tournaments, ensuring that everything runs smoothly

Nestled beside the sparkling blue waters and endless white sands of Drill Hall Beach, the Ocean View Tennis Club is located next to the Hilton Barbados Resort at Needhams Point and just minutes away from Bridgetown. Our club offers the perfect blend of sport and community.
Ocean View Tennis Club
The tennis club has four floodlit hard courts and a practice wall, and the plan is to add a Pickleball Court on one of the Courts. So join the Ocean View Tennis Club and experience the stunning South Coast of Barbados! Enjoy fitness and fun as part of our vibrant community and take part in an exciting tennis experience.
Adult Programs
We offer a wide range of programs to suit every player's needs, including private lessons, group lessons, clinics, and camps. Our coaches use a player-centered approach to help each individual reach their full potential.
Junior Programs
Several up-and-coming junior players are attending Sydney's tennis programs. Team Lopez consists of some of the many juniors who play at our club. Most players have achieved Barbados rankings; some play on the international circuits and are focused on building their ITF rankings.
We aim to instil values of self-discipline and perseverance through the sport.
